What You Will Do

As an Account Manager on our Personal Lines Marketing team, you will partner with our first-class insurance brokers and their teams to help provide the best coverage and service for our non-commercial clients. You'll use your amazing sales skills to help our brokers reach their sales goals and demonstrate how Missouri General provides the best customer service and coverages in the area. Being a part of the office team, you will have the opportunity to closely interact with members of our lively team, learn how to become a master of your craft, and dominate your job responsibilities, which include:

  • Utilizing our cross-selling methods and selling techniques to help continue to grow the company
  • Investigating and analyzing policies from carriers to determine the best coverage for our clients' dollars
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of the current market trends for non-commercial insurance products
  • Managing workflow to ensure work is balanced and deadlines are met
  • Being a dependable team member to not only maintain, but improve the work environment and culture we've built
  • Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, and brokers

What We Will Love About You

  • You have at least 3 years of performance driven sales experience (This is a must!)
  • You have at least 5 years of Personal Lines Account Manager experience (This is a must!)
  • You have a current Property & Casualty Insurance License (This is a must!)
  • You have experience using Applied EPIC agency management system
  • You have experience developing positive, professional relationships with insurance brokers, clients, and fellow teammates
  • You don't shy away from crucial conversations and are able to communicate directly, candidly, and tactfully
  • You strive to serve clients with the highest standards of customer service
  • You are deadline driven and will work tirelessly to meet them.
